Alfred Allen, 84 of Browns Mills, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Virtua Memorial Hospital, Mount Holly, Born in Hopewell Township, he retired from Bristol Myers Squibb and also worked for United Van Line, where he drove and maintained the trucks.

Alfred loved to camp and enjoyed taking his sons on camping trips. Son of the late Walter G. and Flora L. Allen, he is survived by two sons, David J. Allen of Browns Mills and Ricky H. Allen of Maryland; a grandson, Dylan Allen; a brother, Carl Hoagland of Lady Lakes, FL; a sister, Flora Louise Miller of Columbus as well as several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements under the direction of the Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.
