Alexander W. Palkovich, 76, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Hamilton Township. Born and raised in Trenton, he was a resident of Bordentown for the last 50 years. He was a graduate of St. Mary's Manor in Penndel, PA and Catholic University in Washington, DC. Alex was an optician for over 50 years and had worked for the Campus Eye Group in Hamilton, prior to his retirement. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bordentown and sang in the church choir. His family was very dear to him, he enjoyed his grandchildren and he will be deeply missed.

Predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Rose Palkovich, his brother, Frank, and his beloved wife of 42 years Laverne "Dee" German, he is survived by his son, Erich Palkovich and his wife Jennifer of Vincentown, his daughter, Kristen Palkovich and Randy Rosca of Pennington, and his beloved grandchildren: Reid Alexander and Nicholas.

Funeral Services will be 11 am Friday, June 29 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Friends may call from 9:30 am until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Bordentown Cemetery, Bordentown Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Bordentown, 127 Prince St., Bordentown, NJ 08505.
