Agnes E. Richmond, 84, of New Egypt, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at CareOne at Jackson. Born in Uniontown, PA, she was a long time Imlaystown resident before moving to New Egypt in 1995. Agnes was a member of St. John's Church in Allentown. She enjoyed playing Bingo and trips to Atlantic City and loved spending time with her family.
Wife of the late George T. Richmond, she was predeceased by her son, George P. Richmond and her grandson, Mark Joseph Richmond. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Richard T. Richmond and John and Susan Richmond all of New Egypt; eight grandchildren, Philip Richmond, Dawn Erb, Rick Richmond, Nicole Smith, Michele Cree, Veronica Sedgwick, Victoria Richmond and Monique Armstrong; seven great grandchildren, Jason, Karissa, McKenna, Matthew, Michael, Nathan and Tina; two brothers, Edward Gibel of FL and George Gibel of Pasadena, MD; a sister, Mary Borne of Baltimore, MD and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Monday, April 11 th at St. John's Church, 1282 Yardville Rd. Allentown. Interment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville. Friends may call Sunday from 3 to 5 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home 114 So. Main St., Allentown. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to New Egypt First Aid Squad, P.O. Box 368 New Egypt, NJ 08533.
