Adelaide (Fran) Gohd , 94, passed away peacefully on Saturday July 23, 2022 in Florence, NJ. She was born in Manhattan but grew up in Brooklyn, NY. Adelaide raised her family in Fords New Jersey, before retiring to Homestead in Columbus, NJ – more recently relocating to Brookdale in Florence.

She had many jobs before raising her family, and later in life – and spent many wonderful years as a homemaker.  Adelaide was known for her culinary skills, gift of gab and fashionable sense.

Predeceased by her parents Giacommo and Rose Marguglia and her beloved husband Jerry Gohd, she is survived by her children: Kenneth Gohd and his wife Rosemary of Barnegat, NJ and Stuart Gohd and his wife Susan of Acworth, GA. as well as five grandchildren and dear friends.

Funeral Services will be 11:30 am Friday, July 29 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Friends may call from 10:30 am until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
