Ada Spundarelli Caruso (nee Tunney), 102 ½, passed away peacefully in Lawrenceville on Easter Sunday. Born in Columbus, NJ, Ada was raised in Bordentown where she has lived her whole life. She retired as a Bank Manager for Bank of America and was a devout member of St. Mary's/Mary Mother of the Church Parish and also in the Altar Rosary Society of Bordentown. She belonged to both St. Mary's Senior Citizens and Bordentown Township Senior Citizens. She enjoyed her trips to Atlantic City and her crossword puzzles.  Ada loved spending time with her dear family and friends.

Predeceased by her parents Anthony and Emily Tunney Sr., her husband Gus Spundarelli and husband Thomas Caruso, as well as her siblings; Anthony P. Tunney Jr., Emily Trogdon [i] , Mary Schoendorf,  Joseph P. Tunney,  Eugene P. Tunney and James P. Tunney.  Ada was also predeceased by her stepdaughter; Irene & Joseph O'Brien.  Ada is survived by her daughter Dolores & George Tatter of  Mt. Holly, NJ, her son Dennis & Patricia Spundarelli of Columbus,  NJ,  her sisters;  Constance & Steve McDonough of Bordentown, NJ,  Clementine Klimek of Ocean Side, CA and Eleanor DeLaurentis of Santa Maria, CA.  Ada is also survived by her grandchildren; Mary-Ellen & Thomas Mancini, Tracey & Charles Brunner, Michelle Lesniak,  Deana & James Stroebel, Dennis (Adam) & Courtney Spundarelli, and Timothy & Erna O'Brien.   Ada is also survived by her great grandchildren; Samantha & Georgia Lesniak, Ryann & Cash Brunner, Max & Niall, Maisy, Poppy & Mack Stroebel and Lilly & Iverson O'Brien.   And many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11am on Monday, April 17 at Mary, Mother of the Church Parish, 45 Crosswicks St.  Bordentown, NJ 08505. A visitation with the family will be held from 9am until 10:30am at Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St. in Bordentown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ada's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place,  Memphis, TN 38105.
