Ada M. Burroughs (nee Whitley), 89, passed away Monday, March 16, 2026. Born in Trenton, she was a resident of Eastampton for over 50 years. Ada studied early childhood education and earned her degree from Burlington County Community College. She was a longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Morningstar Chapter #22. In her free time, she enjoyed crafting, painting, and sewing. She was a very proud mother and grandmother.

Daughter of the late Raymond and Vinne Whitley, she was predeceased by her husband, Reginald Burroughs and by her son, James Whitley. Ada is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Rick LaBaw and Nancy and Chris Mrzljak; her grandchildren, Julie Foley and her husband Kyle, Luke Mrzljak and his wife Alyssa, Richard LaBaw, and Christopher LaBaw; her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Makayla, Colson, and Milo as well as many other extended family.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, March 27th from 11-1pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown, NJ.
