Abigail Rogers Smith, 72, of Allentown, passed away August 14, 2012 quietly at her home. Born in Trenton, Abigail graduated from Allentown High School, Class of 1957.  She was a current member of the Allentown First Aid Squad, and was currently serving as the president of the Ladies Auxiliary. Abigail was also Delegate to the 9 ^th District of the NJ State First Aid Council.

Daughter of the late Alvin R. and Caroline Bates Smith, Abigail is survived by her sisters and brothers, Alice Stanhope, Ruth Bertagni, Tom Smith, Helen Smith, Carol Floyd and Richard Smith as well as many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 11am on Saturday, Spetember 29th at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 So. Main St Allentown.  The Rev. Dr. Stephen Heinzel-Nelson will officiate.  Memorial contributions may be made in Abigail's name to the Allentown First Aid Squad, P.O. Box 252, Allentown, NJ 08501.
